I've cooked many different types of rice in this cooker, from jasmine to weird wild rice mixtures, and every pot has come out perfect. I especially like making basmati with chicken broth; that's our staple. The machine will keep the rice fresh and hot for as long as 24 hours, adjust to different quantities automatically, and do everything but water your plants. It's also very easy to clean, though you have to careully wipe the vent hole in the lid if you used liquids other than plain water, like broth or something with oil.
