Just received my Jo Rice Cooker & it is as "advertised" --i.e., works very well. However, I was disappointed to read that the lithium battery will have to be replaced in 4 to 5 years by a service center. There are none here in CT; so that means I will not only have to pay for the service work plus the battery, but also the shipping & insurance as well; which will bring the total out of pocket expense close to $40 or $50. Why couldn't Zojirushi just simply have a little tab where you open it up & install a new battery such as my computer does or any other clock or appliance?
